Day 130: New Router (Didn't Work)

Day 130: New Router (Didn't Work)

Last night, I bought a new (and pricey) wireless router mostly to prove a point: that my ISP was completely wrong and my wireless router had nothing to do with my connectivity issues. After another hour, I finally got them to admit something was wrong with the line, and they promised to send a service tech to inspect. This has been a disaster, and completely ruined the once high regard I had for my ISP.

After months of perfect service, my router started crashing/rebooting every time large traffic went through it. After a bit of googling, I figured out it was a heat problem, so now I've got it turned vertical and have a cheap, electric fan pointed at it. (The fan was a $2.44 Big Lots clearance item from a few months previous.)

Super G - Devon

Super G - Devon

Valley Fair, 200 W. Swedesford Rd; opened in early 1998 as the last of the six Philly-area Super G stores; immediately after the chain was acquired by Giant-PA's owner Ahold, and the stores had to be divested. This store was allowed to remain Super G's only PA store, as it wasn't close to any other Giant, but it closed a year and a half later anyway due to low sales (a Super Fresh is within walking distance, not to mention this store is impossible to see from the highway). Divided between Linens & Things and Petsmart; the Linens & Things half is currently vacant.

Sold to Supervalu in 1998 after Giant-MD merged with Giant-PA, as there's a Giant-PA nearby in Audubon. Became Shop n' Save, which closed in 2001 along with the Laneco chain. Reopened as Acme in 2003.
